Interactive Large-screen Projection Display System Design

With the great development of Information Technology in late 20th Century, Computer science, large display technology and electric technology, mouse and keyboards have more and more seriously became the obstacle that bind teachers' hand and foot. The appearance of optical-electronic human-computer interactive large screen diplay system which applied in the field of teaching, conference and demo solved this problem.The human-computer interactive large screen diplay system based on the optical information processing which is an integration of optical, electronic, mechanical and computer technology is composed of computer, projector, camera and digital pen. As most human-computer interactive large screen diplay system in market have expansive cost, a new project with low-cost position measurement method was designed and a sample system was developed, with the support of hardware and software available.By using a digital pen, the operator can write or draw on a special digital whiteboard or large panel display, which takes the place of conventional blackboard. Controlling the cursor directly, she/he devotes himself/herself to his/her speech over by operating the mouse and keyboard. Firstly, the system principles and the process of overall system design will be described at the beginning. Software theory related to this project will also be briefly introduced. Secondly, the systematic framework will be analyzed in three main parts, digital pen, signal processor and software. Thirdly, the focus of this dissertation is describing the design of software, including planning, requirements analysis, programming and testing, following the model of waterfall. At the end of this dissertation is a summary and the orientation to enhance the performance is also discussed.
