Bus as the main means of highway passenger transport, and gradually to high-speed,large-scale extension of the direction. But in the road traffic facilities continue to improve at the same time, frequent bus accidents, resulting in "group death," the serious consequences for the state and people's lives and property safety and physical and mental harm caused great.Among the four types of crash accidents, passenger frontal collision is a "potential killer" with a high incidence rate of 40%,a lethality rate of 76% and a fatal rate of 33%.At present, the laws and regulations on the strength of the front structure under the passenger frontal collision are lacking. Therefore,it is very important to study the crashworthiness and occupant injury of the front structure. In this study,a 6129 full-load bus was selected as the research object.Based on the vehicle crash test, the finite element model of the bus was built using Hypermesh software. The collision was carried out at 30 km / h.Simulation, the bus simulation data and test data for comparison, verify the model's reliability. The results of the research are analyzed and summarized, which provide some references for the frontal crash simulation, the real vehicle test, the standard formulation and the development, and the evaluation of the frontal collision safety of the bus.The core of this paper can be summed up as the following aspects:1.On the basis of reading a large number of domestic and foreign literature, the status and development of domestic and international bus safety performance test and simulation research are introduced.2.The non-linear finite element method and the theory of occupant damage are introduced in the theory of collision simulation analysis, including the damage theory and the description of the occupant damage index.3.The finite element analysis model of the passenger car was built by using Hypermesh software to pre-process the three-dimensional model of the passenger car(pumping the middle surface,2d meshing, component connection, material attribute setting,etc.).4.The Dyna solver is used to calculate the finite element model. The deformation of the front body structure of the coach and the driver's living space and the occupant dummy's damage are analyzed, and the simulated data and the simulation data are analyzed. The experimental data of vehicle collision are compared and analyzed in order to verify the validity and accuracy of the model.Based on the above simulation results,an improved scheme is proposed for the structure of the vehicle body, the buffer energy absorption structure is increased, and the crashworthiness performance of the passenger car is improved by the orthogonal design test method.Compared with the calculated results before the improvement, the bus cab and the upper front The occupant's living space has a greater degree of improvement, the crew dummy's head, chest, thigh axial force than before have reduced, especially the head injury value reduced to 1000 the following.
