Currently,urban traffic problem congestion is becoming more and more serious,especially the congestion at the intersection is one of the most important factors which lead to urban traffic congestion,and the signal control method is adopted to manage intersection congestion.However,traffic volume is non-linear,time-varying and stochastic,the exact model cannot be used to solve the problem of intersection congestion,the current signal control method cannot manage and distribute traffic effectively,this paper studied the traffic control system at home and abroad,and combined with the intelligent traffic signal control machine of traffic signal control system to research and analysis,the manual control mode and the autonomous control mode of the intelligent traffic signal control were improved.First of all,the paper aimed at the current deficiencies of manual control mode to complete and improve,according to the requirements of manual control mode,an Android application was designed,and the traffic lights were successfully controlled.In the aspect of software,the Android application was written in the Java language,the intelligent traffic signal control machine was connected with WiFi and the UDP protocol was adopted in this application to transmit and receive data information.In the aspect of hardware,the WiFi module of WG209 and MYD-SAMA5D3CX-C processor which is based on ARM Cortex-A5 as the kernel were adopted,and the USB 2.0 between the two hardware modules was connected.Secondly,the timing signal control of the original self-control mode was improved in this paper,and the real-time signal light control system which simulates the traffic flow based on the traffic flow at the intersection was proposed.The average delay time,average queue length,average number of stops and capacity indicatorswas used to establish the delay model in the system,the signal scheme was optimized and matched in real time under the expert system,the cycle and green split was changed,and the intersection of traffic congestion was alleviated and optimized.Finally,by analyzing simulation data,the performance of traffic signal control system of the expert system is better than the performance of timing signal control system in optimizing the intersection congestion.
