Abstract/Summary:
It is essential to have the design of flue gas ducts system safe and stable,which will ensure a thermal plant operates normally.The design of flue gas duct should take all kinds of complex loads into consideration,such as internal pressure,ash accumulation,wind,snow loads and so on.In the current design code,the simplified model and its rough calculation method of rectangular flue gas ducts are too limited to meet the design requirements of modern thermal power plants.Finite element method(FEM)therefore has become an effective method to analyze the strength,mode and stability of the flue gas duct system.Firstly,this paper introduced the structure and design calculation method of the rectangular flue gas ducts,and analyzed the deficiency of the current calculation method.And then the modeling method of three-dimensional FEM of rectangular flue gas ducts were discussed.In addition,implement methods like parametric modeling of pipeline bodes,reinforcing ribs,inner supporting rods,hanger and other components of flue gas ducts and the realization method of connection relationship,loads and boundary conditions,element selection and mesh partition,material and steel properties were studied..Secondly,based on ABAQUS redevelopment function,GUI graphical interface tools and the object-oriented Python language,software redeveloped can quickly complete geometric modeling,automatic assembly,connection definition,load application and mesh partition.Besides,Users only need to input or select the appropriate parameters in the design interface,then the FEM of flue gas ducts system can be established accordingly.And static analysis under various loads,modal analysis and buckling analysis will be realized effectively.According to the specific engineering design requirements of users,the software designed can output the component information,load information,stress and deformation data of the ducts system as the Word documents and Excel forms.Finally,the finite element modeling and analysis of the front flue of a power plant was carried out by using the redeveloped software.The results showed that the software developed can quickly realize the finite element modeling and its calculation results were proved to be correct and reliable.The software provides an effective tool for the design of rectangular flue gas ducts of thermal power plant,which is of great significance to improve the design efficiency and reduce the design cost.
