With the increasing environmental pollution,air purifiers are widely sought after by people.At the same time,people's requirements for environmental noise is also rising.Aerodynamic performance of centrifugal fan has received more and more attention.For the requirements of one company,a numerical simulation of a backward centrifugal fan applied to an air purifier is carried out.The internal flow characteristics and noise characteristics are obtained,then the backward centrifugal fan is optimized on the existing basic to achieve: ensuring the wind pressure to be above 175 Pa without increasing the noise when the rotational speed is 2400 r / min and the flow rate of 315m~3 / h.The main contents of this research are:(1)Reverse modeling of the existing impeller.Scan the impeller,and get the impeller point cloud model,then reverse modeling to obtain the impeller model.(2)Flow field simulation and noise analysis of the current impeller.Firstly,the model is meshed with Hypermesh,then flow field simulation and noise analysis are launched with Fluent,the distribution and values of the wind pressure,noise distribution and values of the impeller are obtained to determine the optimization scheme.(3)Establish an optimization program.According to the analysis results,the orthogonal test method is used to establish nine kinds of optimization programs.(4)Model the nine optimization schemes with UG,divide the mesh with Hypermesh,and then use Fluent for steady-state analysis.(5)The optimal optimization scheme is obtained by orthogonal experimental design of the nine steady-state results.The optimal simulation scheme is simulated and the steady-state results are verified.
