With the high-speed development of national economy and the deepening of reform and opening up,power users require the power quality and power supply reliability is higher and higher,power system failure can cause great damage to social economy,how to carry on the effective management of power distribution network,solve the problem of power distribution network fault,is the important problem to be solved of the grid,and the emergence of the distribution network automation system laid the important foundation for improving the distribution network operation and self-healing.Fault location,isolation and recovery is the key technologies to realizing the power supply reliability of power distribution network.Finding the accurate fault location of distribution network,quickly isolating the fault zone,and restoring the power supply of the non-fault area,which has extremely vital significance to reduce the blackout area and improve power supply reliability of distribution network.Firstly,this paper introduces the development of power distribution network automation and its troubleshooting technique and basic principle;Then putting Dongguan city distribution network as the research object,analyzing the realization of the current Dongguan distribution network automation degree,the situation of the fault detection processing and the problems still exist.We studied its effect in monitoring and solving the fault which is basing on the OPEN 3200 distribution network automation system.Finally for the lack of fault handling technology in distribution network automation,this paper gives an economical and practical algorithm of the fault processing,which will reduce the outage time,improve power supply reliability,improve the operation efficiency of the distribution network.With the development of distribution network automation fault handling technology,it enhances the optimal allocation of resources,reduces the loss of the power grid and improves the utilization of resources.The research results can provide certain theoretical basis for the work of relevant department in the distribution network automation retrofit scheme design and benefit evaluation,etc.And it also can lay a solid foundation for the distribution network automation renovation in other areas.
