The statistic shows that large number of accidents in distributing net caused by the unexpected accidents of distribution lines or distribution transformers other than substation. the key to the improvement of power supply reliability is to enhance the ability of monitoring and protection and control for distribution net and its equipments during both normal operation and accident conditions .Monitoring is being done by computer network and FTU/TTU combining feed line loop and the state of distribution transformers. The accident area can thus be fund accurately and timely, and isolated then to recover power supply in non-accident area. This will be of advantage to customers to solve the problems of lower reliability in power supply and unexpected interruption times and interruption hours , and power supply department to solve the problems of finding fault place and long fault time and distributing system running out of plan .This paper studies several cases of distribution automation system and tries to introduce a method based on computer net, system planning of distribution automation in feed line terminal, system design of feeder automation , and fault monitoring , fault isolated , recovering power supply . The paper provided a realized solution on feed line automation according to several typical style of feed line junction . The relative case have been put into practice in the Key Sci-Tech Project of Yunnan province undertaken by the author...
