With the development of the power grid,the operation mode of the power system is changed from "centralized control" to " integration of dispatch and control ".This requires dispatcher to control power grid in time by the intelligent alarm system,especially in accident.Conventional SCADA/EMS system just collect the alarm signal from plant-station and show in alarm window by time sequence simply.However,the defect of this method is lack of signal optimization and analysis capabilities.When the power system is in normal operation,a large number of alarm signals must be manually confirmed by the dispatcher,which will be easy to ignore the important abnormal signals,which will lead to the expansion of the accident.When power grid is breakdown,it is difficult to analyze and judge the fault in the face of a large number of alarms.Real-time processing expert system of intelligent alarm information based on PCS-9000,I design an alarm system which is suitable for the operation of " integration of dispatch and control ".The system receives and summarizes all kinds of alarm information,according to their characteristics,a large number of alarm information is classified and analyzed.Application evaluation and example analysis show that this intelligent alarm system can compensate for the deficiencies of the existing system of two information.Besides,this system can reduce the invalid alarm signal,improve the quality of supervision,provide auxiliary decision function for the dispatchers to deal with the accident.
