Historical village as the important carrier of traditional culture,has been received extensive attention of the society and academic circles.The protection of historical villages should be sustainable,preserve the traditional culture,as well as through reforming update for reuse.The traditional model of protection is a up-bottom model.In recent years,however,update and reuse of a "bottom-up" mode to cause the attention of people.Xiaba Villagein Dongguan is a typical spontaneous update reuse cases.Xiaba Village is an “Art intervenes model”transformation.The transformation update give the life to the old village to drive the economic development at the same time also brought a lot of problems,such as over-commercialization and the overall style mixed and disorderly,etc.This article based on the problems of the spontaneous transformation in Xiaba Village,try to guide the way to solve this problem.Through the in-depth research of XiabaVillage,weunderstandthepresent situation and the reasons of this problems.Through the investigation and comparison of Domestic and foreign relevant practice,to explore suitable guideline of this problem for XiabaVillage,and the run mode of this guideline.Finally,put forwardApplicable guideline.Hope to provide some enlightenment for the spontaneous transformation in XiabaVillage,as well as future similar practice.The first part,this paper summarizes the research background and significance of establishing the research scope and research at home and abroad,put forward the thesis framework.The second part,this paper introduces the general situation of Dongguan Xiaba Village,and the basic characteristics of the Xiaba Village’s spontaneous reconstruction.The third part,in view of the features of XiabaVillage.Analyses the native style of Xiaba Village,and the styleafter transforming,as well as theproblems ofspontaneous transformation.The fourth part,through to the domestic and foreign relevant practice of the control method research and comparison,summarized for reference.Discuss what kind of guideline applies to the problem of Xiaba Village.The fifth part,put forward suitable guideline for Xiaba Village.
