After the completion of the bridge, due to the influence of climate and environmen t, the structural materials will be in corrosion and gradually aging. With long-term dyn amic and static loads, the strength and stiffness decreases as time goes on. This will no t only affect traffic safety, but also shorten the service life of the bridge. The bridge stru ctural health monitoring system monitors the bridge’s structure and working environme nts in real-time, also it analyses the health condition of the bridge, evaluates Static and dynamic load capacity of the bridge and the security and reliability of the structures by using monitoring data which provides decision-making basis for operation and mainte nance for the bridge. Structural health monitoring system of this research is a project d esigned for a new bridge across the Huangpu River in Shanghai Songjiang district by Shanghai Juyee Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., at the same time the project is one of the topics of Shanghai bridge big data research, I am the Project mana ger t, so I am responsible for the project’s design, development, implementation and po st-operational maintenance.According to project requirements,the main content of this article is to develop str uctural health monitoring System for ChenTa road’s bridge acrossing the HuangPu Riv er. By installing sensors on the important positions of the bridge representing bridge e nvironment, loads and structural response, and combined with regular manual inspectio n of testing data, the structural health monitoring System monitors the possible chang es of the bridge status, gets structural damages in early time, and evaluates the change s and damages. We combine the past Baesd on our past development experience and f oreign counterparts’ experience, we analyzes from the bridge’s environmental characte ristics, structural features and functional requirements of a software system:first, the o verall design of the system; completion of bridge monitoring points determine the layo ut and relevant monitoring parameters; completed the design, selection, procurement, i nstallation and commissioning work sensors, acquisition equipment, communications e quipment, storage, data processing equipment; completed on the system software for a utomatic data acquisition software, manual inspection Conservation software, integrate d early warning security assessment software, user interface software, database softwar e center several subsystems were carried out the design, development and debugging.The design and implement of structural health monitoring System for ChenTa road ’s bridge acrossing the HuangPu River put into operation, marking the representative with the latest technology, the third generation of the bridge structure monitoring syste m design developed and put into practical use in the monitoring of the bridge structure, with significant research and application value.
