With development of economy and improvement of people's life,the environment and energy problems have been focused on.There are few researches on layout of regional energy of towns in severe cold area.In this paper,the potential of energy and resources of towns in severe cold area was analyzed through theoretical study,field research and numerical simulation,which plays a great role in development of green towns.The evaluation index system of renewable energy resources of towns in severe cold area was established through the study on layout of regional energy of towns.Based on the theory study,severe cold area were divided into different parts according to the characteristics of different towns.The potential of renewable energy resource of typical towns in each part was analyzed.Based on the index such as richness and stability of solar energy,power level of wind resources,the potential of solar energy and wind resources in severe cold area was analyzed and evaluated.And the maps of solar energy were made.Based on the index such as quantity of straw resources and animal manure resources,the potential straw resources and resources was analyzed and evaluated.And the maps of biomass resources were made.The potential of renewable energy resources in severe cold area and different climatic zones in China was analyzed and evaluated,and the maps of solar energy and biomass resources were made.The results show that in severe cold area,for solar energy,the west is richer than the east,and it is stable in most parts.Wind resources of Jilin and northern Inner Mongolia are abundant,relatively weak in southern Xinjiang and northern Qinghai.For straw resources,the east is richer than the west and the north is richer than the south,the advantage of them in Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia is obvious.The animal manure resources of the east are richer than the west,which in northeastern provinces and Inner Mongolia are abundant,relatively weak in Qinghai,Xinjiang and Tibet.Climates,characteristics of energy and resources,building information of rural house,and human behavior in typical towns were investigated.Based on the investigation,energy consumption of typical rural house in severe area was simulated by using DeST.The influence of different factors such as thermal performance of building envelope,window to wall ratio,type of windows,story height and human behavior was analyze.The results show that thermal performance of building envelope,indoor air temperature and human behavior of rural house in severe cold area have a great influence on the energy consumption.
