In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to urban public transport, and the subway engineering design and construction influence a city's traffic development. In the process of metro construction, the collapse accidents not only cause serious economic losses, but also cause a large number of casualties and bring negative impact to the society. Therefore, the risk factors of collapse in the construction process of metro construction are evaluated and decision-made, which can be used as a way to avoid the accident. The main research findings are summarized as follows:(1) At first, this paper analyzes 38 collapse accident in metro engineering construction occurred nearly a decade, combining the 5M1 E analytic method summarized the collapse risk factors in the process of metro construction, the total of collapse risk index syste m in the process of metro engineering construction is established.(2) Then, to identify collapse risk factors of Shanghai Metro Line 9 in the process of engineering construction. According to the total collapse risk index system in metro engineering construction, combined with field investigation, questionnaire survey and interview survey, collapse risk indicator system of the project construction is screened. After identifying risk factors and establishing risk index system, doing risk assessment of the Shanghai Metro Line 9 in the process of engineering construction. firstly using the method of analytic hierarchy process(AHP) to determine the relative weight of each risk factor relative to the upper level factor. Then, using the set pair analysis to evaluate the risk analysis and get the total risk level of risk rank and main risk factors of the collapse in the process of engineering construction, of which the total risk level is three.(3) Finally, based on the risk assessment, for human factors, survey a nd design factors, technical factors, environmental factors, management factors, risk control measures of technology and quality assurance measures are put forward in order to create a certain guiding role in construction site safety, to minimize the risk of construction and ensure the smooth completion of the project.
