The mountainous highway is one of the important components of the transportation route in our country, and the landslide is the representative geological disaster on this pathway. In this study,we take the National Highway 310 as the research object, and analyze the external characteristics of the high fill landslide. On the basis of field investigation, the cause and influence factors of landslide are analyzed, and the types and causes of the landslide are identified. Two options are put forward and combined with qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. After comprehensive evaluation to the safety, feasibility and rationality of each scheme, and we eventually determined the pile-type retaining wall with reinforced concrete as the construction material, supplemented by the surface drainage measures to effectively reduce the risk of landslide and its damage level.Based on the field survey, the research carries on the comprehensive analysis to the collected data and rationalized improvement design to the slump problem. It also introduced the main structure and the realization plan of this comprehensive management plan in detail.Furthermore, the research offered a specific scheme instruction to the transportation security. The validity and scientificity of the proposed scheme are validated by the monitoring and post-effect evaluation. The results show that the scheme is very effective in controlling the landslide problem in mountainous areas.Especially when facing the problem of landslide in the high fill slope areas and other geological disasters,it showes good efficiency, and can effectively improve the mountain road safety and quality level. It is hoped that the research will provide effective reference and guidance for the governance of relevant domestic problems.
