In the past for a long period of time,pumped storage power station equipment,including a second electro-mechanical components are dependent on imports.The last 10 years,pumped storage power station began a massive building,pumped storage unit number rapidly increased.Subsequently carried out,is cramps electromechanical equipment in China.Equipment has been achieved ahead of schedule localization,and localization of the secondary equipment progress is lagging behind,especially in the generator-motor and transformer unit(hereinafter referred to as transformer Group)of protection equipment.Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station were domestic transformation machine protection device # 5-transformer group protection and strive to solve cramps protection performance does not fully meet the existing requirements,design standards are not uniform imperfect,lack of protection configuration,latching logic complexity and poor reliability.In this paper,the actual renovation project for the protection transformer Group carried out the following main tasks:(1)Allocation of protection: By comparing several typical pumped storage power plant protection scheme and the analysis of specific protection cramps,gives a comprehensive optimized cramps transformer protection configuration,combined with Guangzhou pumped storage Hydropower actual situation to determine the ultimate use of the protection scheme.(2)Instrument transformer Allocation: By comparing several typical pumped storage power station transformer protection configuration design,analysis of the pros and cons of the various transformer configuration scheme,proposed several reasonable and perfect,no dead zone evacuated build transformer protection transformer configuration,combined with the actual situation of Guangzhou pumped storage power to determine the ultimate use of the transformer configuration.(3)Sampling Technique: The effects of short data window and zero-frequency tracking technology integration technology to effectively solve the low frequency electrical quantities sampling frequency conversion process difficult problems,improve the protection performance.(4)Blocking logic study: cramps transformer protection peculiar logic complex lockout,the study relies on the position of the knife contact signal from the protection device determines its own operating conditions,and then perform the blocking logic approach and joined the anti measures of error,effectively improve the reliability and independence of the blocking logic simplifies the blocking condition.Through this study,in the realization of pumped storage power station transformer protection of domestic production while improving the protection performance,the full realization of the protection of import substitution products.
