Rural environment,a civilization under the background of people engaged in agricultural production and living space,which includes most traditional Chinese slow mode of life and "harmony" between the nature and the universe,is the most indispensable part of traditional culture.With the acceleration of the modernization,rural environment under the impact of social change and urban civilization gradually lost the superiority of their culture,besides,the original rural culture and rural landscape has reached devastating damage.In recent years,in the name of fast-paced urbanization development,the living conditions of the countryside has changed and threaten the survival of rural ecological environment,therefore,suitable for rural development and livable,sustainable development of the rural environment is an urgent problem to be solved.Originated in Europe,international "slow city" concept advocated by livable,slow life philosophy coincides with present Chinese people yearn for rural pace of life.Based on the thinking of China traditional slow culture,this paper get its “slow life” gene to make it more healthy,long,exotic flavor and more suitable for Chinese rural soil,Therefore,it combines international slow city concept with Chinese traditional slower culture to further improve and refine the slow city concept,exploring the country slow city model suitable for China,and applying it to the environmental design in Beidaihe.According to the development of village in Beidaihe,explores its original slow elements from the overall layout,slow traffic organization and specific spaces and focus on the expression of continuity of space and content,production coordination,life and the relationship between newly tour functions,under the perspective of "livable,and suitable for travel,and industry" though the deeper study of environmental design of Beidaihe to construct the slow life of village system and to reach the harmony village environment between human and nature,The Overall goal is to follow the primitive laws of nature,with the least artificial destruction to get maximum optimization,protecting and preserving rural culture,without lose in extreme urbanization.
