With the gradual prosperity of the night economy,night time has become the main time for people to carry out leisure activities.Leisure class commercial public space as a new favorite of local leisure travel,the phenomenon of activities in night is more significant.However,the existing public space design has been based on the daytime environmental needs,less consideration of the demand difference of space users psychological and activities in the day and night is not conducive to space ful-time use.Therefore,it is very important to explore the difference of spatial demand of space users with different social attributes at different times to promote the ful-time use of public space.Under the guidance of the theory of urban planning and environmental psychology,this paper takes the whole time period of the commercial space of leisure class as the research object,taking the user's behavior habit and environmental cognition as the breakthrough point.The behavioral characteristics and characteristics of daytime and nighttime users were analyzed from the aspects of population structure,user perception and user behavior by means of activity annotation,questionnaire survey and pedestrian counting.This paper is divided into three parts,the first part is the basic research,including Chapter 1 and 2.The first chapter is the introduction,including the background of the topic,the purpose and significance of the study,and through the domestic and foreign research summary,to understand the current night space environment research status,put forward the research innovation of this subject.Chapter 2 is the basic theory of the relevant concepts and the related theories,and summarizes the research methods commonly used in environmental psychology.On this basis,this paper puts forward the research methods and research framework of this subject.The second part includes Chapter 3 to Chapter 6,which is an empirical study of the spatial use of recreational commercial space.Among them,the third chapter is the research design,mainly introduces the case choice,the research object,the case profile and the survey method;Chapter 4 analyzes the correlation between people flow and population structure and time,analyzes the changes of people's flow,age structure,composition structure and gender structure according to different observation days and different periods,and summarizes the purpose and environmental requirements of different people.Chapter 5 is the study of perceptual cognition and time correlation of users,which includes two aspects: environmental demand and environmental evaluation.Chapter 6 is the study of the correlation between behavior and time of space users,and studies the differences of day and night behavior characteristics and environmental requirements of the main activities of four leisure commercial public spaces,such as walking behavior,rest behavior,game behavior and viewing behavior.The third part is the conclusion chapter,which summarizes the contents of the previous six chapters and summarizes the main conclusions of the paper,and puts forward the relevant design strategy for the whole time of the commercial space of leisure class.The study found that:(1)the nighttime period is the most common time for the commercial leisure space,the travel time of different attribute groups has different time preference;(2)the difference between the daytime and the night due to the visual environment,will cause the user to feel and perception Cognitive changes;(3)the user's activities in the day and night with different behavioral characteristics of the law,so the environmental needs of day and night there are differences.
