Study On Failure Mode Of Automobile Seat Production

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis(FMEA)is one of the effective methods of potential failure mode,reasons and consequences in product designing and manufacturing process.It's application can help enterprises comprehensively analyze the potential failure mode and put forward preventive solutions to the failure condition of automobile seats designing and production.So this paper mainly analyzes the failure mode in designing and manufacturing process based on the FMEA method,which is one of the five managements of automobile seats quality.Firstly,this paper has clearly explained the basic theoretical knowledge related to the basic structure,technical terms,the key points of design and manufacture,seat development basic flow,and seat production industry standard of automobile seats.Secondly,this paper has analyzed the FMEA method and the basic technology of the automobile seats production with an emphasis on the basic analysis of the fundamental FMEA application method,including the definition of FMEA,classification,characteristics,basic application steps,application notes,and so on.At the same time,this research has made a specific study on the production technology of the main arts of the automobile seat system and elaborated the automobile seat reliability testing method and the potential FMEA basic principles.Thirdly,it makes a concrete analysis of the FMEA specific application in the production of automobile seats.The author explains the worksheet filling method of the FMEA application process and the compensation measure analysis,and makes an intensive study of the combination of FMEA and QFD.Finally,FMEA's specific application in the automobile seats production is detailed studied.This paper analyzes FMEA's specific application in the automobile seats designing process(take the seat foam assembly for example),the manufacturing process(take the automobile seat assembly for example),the importance of FMEA's potential failure mode and influence analysis in the automobile seat parts manufacturing industry.It can help control the production quality and decrease the cost.
