This paper is based on the National high technology Marine scientific research projects-development center of sail technology application-the research of vortex-induced vibration for wind-assisted vessel,the target sail is designed by Dalian Shipbulding Industry co.,LTD.The paper introduce the process of development of sail and theory of vortex-induced vibration,summarize the main feature of sail structure dynamic analysis considering the damaged situation.,intruduce turbulence model and calculation principle of CFD.Then,the paper will use the method of CFD,build flow field and structure model of the sail,calculate which with software of CFX and ANSYS.Calculate the vortex-induced vibration of columns when Re=2121,compared the results with experimental data to prove the turbulence is effective.Two-dimensional sail model is set up at the same time,calculate the frequency of the real scaled sail profile and proportion scaled proportion,verify the reliability of similarity criterion.Analysis the behavior of vortex shedding of different velocity and different angle,for single sail and double sail.Draw the conclusion for the frequency changed with Re and angle of attack,as the reference of three-dimensional sail.Finally,build simplified model of three dimensional sail,analysis vortex-induced vibration by calculating Three-dimensional sail model which the scale is 1:16 with the turbulence of SST,and compare which with the result of Two-dimensional sail model.Using SAS method which is more accurate to get the frequency of vortex shedding.Analysis the finite element model of actual sail for modal to discriminate whether vortex induced vibration will occur.Build the actual sail fluid-solid coupling model,calculate multiple conditions for the response of vortex-induced vibration wind-induced vibration,and analysis the relationship between the response and the state of flow filed.
