As the world’s energy and environmental pollution problems have received the global attention. Ship designers have researched on wind energy development and utilization, Wing-assisted ships is the main way of wind energy utilization on shipping. At present the research of wing-assisted ship mainly focused on some basic techniques the such as aerodynamic characteristics of wing sail, the ship’s stability checking considered the influence of the wing sail, the characteristics of wing diesel system and the strength of the wing-mast system, etc. In this paper, i main studied on the wind-induced vortex-induced vibration. The wing model will be installed on VLCC deck.In this paper, the research method was CFD numerical calculation. Established the wing flow field numerical model and calculated. Commercial software is the analysis software in this research. In order to verify the reliability of the numerical simulation method, I have made a numerical calculation on the classic cylindrical circumferential flow. In this paper I have calculated for Re=1.95×104. I compared κ-ε turbulence model and the SST κ-ω turbulence model’s applicability in the numerical simulation of vortex-induced vibration, and confirmed the feasibility of calculation Settings, proved the feasibility of the numerical simulation method.In this paper, I have CFD calculation for the airfoil4 type wing 125 scale model. This paper studies how the wing angle, velocity of wind, gradient wind speed and wing to wing interference effects work on the wing vortex induced vibration. Through the analysis of the calculation result shows that, the vortex-induced vibration phenomenon of wing occur when the wing was in a certain Angle range, and vortex frequency was largest when the wing was at the initial Angle of attack, with the Angle of attack increases the vortex frequency gradually reduce. Within a certain wind speed range, wind speed was increased, the vortex frequency is higher, so the maximum wind speed is the key factors to determine the vortex frequency range. Gradient wind speed will aggravate the vortex-induced vibration, he wing to wing interference effects will inhibition of vortex vibration in 10°angle, but in 15°angle the vortex frequency will increase. Wing deflection due to inhibition of vortex vibration phenomenon, reduce the frequency of sail leakage vortex.
