Spiral bevel gears are widely used in the mechanical transmission structure of intersecting shafts as the main transmission parts.At present,the main processing method of spiral bevel gear is milling,but the processing method has the defects of low material utilization,low production efficiency,high production cost,as well as reduced the bending strength of the tooth root due to the cutting of the metal fiber flow line.The service life of spiral bevel gear precision forging is obviously higher than cutting.But the tooth thickness of tooth tie of pinion of spiral bevel gear is thin,and in the process of hot forging the tooth die will be quickly annealing deformation and those factors cause the life of the forging die lower,in addition the manufacture of precision forging die is also difficult.Based on this,this paper puts forward processing method of hot rolling machining the pinion of spiral bevel gear.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Drawing lessons from rolling forming technology of cylindrical gear and spline,based on the analysis of the motion relationship between the tool wheel and the workpiece and according to gear meshing principle construct the motion model of pinion of spiral bevel gear that hot rolling.Write a program to solve the tooth surface points of pinion and the conjugate tool wheel and import the points into UG for 3D modeling,assembly,and motion simulation.(2)Import the three-dimensional model into DEFORM-3D for simulation of rolling process and analysis the hot rolling process of pinion of spiral bevel gear.Verify the feasibility of rolling process.Based on the analysis of the physical field such as equivalent strain field,equivalent stress field,temperature field and the loadstroke curve,the parameters of rolling process is obtained.(3)According to the rolling principle and the movement relationship between the tool wheel and the round billet,the design of the whole test device and parts structure is determined.The hydraulic system,synchronous driving device and fixture system are designed.Based on the finite element analysis software Ansys Workbench,static and dynamic characteristics of the key spot of the test device is analyzed.
