The logarithmic spiral bevel gear is a new type of spiral bevel gear designed to solve the uncoordinated helix angle on the meshing line of the current spiral bevel gear.The design is mainly used in the fields of high speed and heavy-duty precision machine tools,vehicle transmission and construction machinery,which require the logarithmic spiral bevel gear to achieve a relatively high level in the carrying capacity and transmission efficiency.The tooth profile modification of logarithmic spiral bevel gears directly affects the dynamic performance and tooth surface strength of the gears.The results show that the tooth profile modification of gears can effectively reduce the meshing impact and eliminate the edge contact and unbalance loading of teeth,reduce noise,improve gear carrying capacity and service life,has important engineering application values.This thesis applies the finite element method to the traditional gear tooth profile modification method.Based on the theory of gear contact finite element method,combined with the tooth shape principle and meshing theory of logarithmic spiral bevel gear,established the three-dimensional model of logarithmic spiral bevel gear,The thesis uses the finite element software to establish the analytical model of finite element gear contact,carries out loaded contact analysis on the gear contact model,and studies the tooth profile modification on this basis of tooth profile modification theory.The main contents of this research include the following four aspects:First is to introduce the application status and theoretical basis,studying the tooth profile theory and the parameter relationship among the gears for the logarithmic spiral bevel gears,to provide the theoretical basis for loading contact analysis of logarithmic spiral bevel gears.Secondly,the thesis will introduce the model into the established parametric three-dimensional gears,and add the material attributes,create the contact pairs and mesh generations.On this basis,ANSYS Workbench software is used to carry out the loaded contact analysis for the logarithmic spiral bevel gears,to study its real contact area,contact stress,contact trajectory and gear load distribution and other issues.Thirdly,based on the analysis of the loaded contact analysis,according to the meshing principle of the logarithmic spiral bevel gear,this thesis will research on tooth profile modification technology of the logarithmic spiral bevel gear,deduce the corresponding tooth profile modification curve and put forward the shaping parameter of gears according to the meshing principle of the logarithmic spiral bevel gear.Finally,re-model for the logarithmic spiral bevel gears and carry out the gear loaded contact analysis after the shape modification,comparing the loaded contact situation before and after the gear shape modification through the software.The analysis results show after modification.that the contact stress is effectively improved and the contact strength is greatly enhanced,which can provide effective theoretical basis for the research and practice of tooth profile modification of the logarithmic spiral bevel gear.
