Research On The Design Of Residential District Platform Based On Neighborhood Interaction

With the development of urbanization and the development of modern architecture,people’s living environment has been greatly improved.However,the prosperity of material enhancement does not really meet the needs of people’s spirit.Neighbors are the people living around with us,the neighborhood interaction is inevitable in daily lives,and there are problems in the neighborhood calling for attention.The neighborhood relationship is indifferent,partly because of the fact that the modern residential district has not been able to create the appropriate conditions for the neighborhood,so the corresponding communication activities are difficult to occur.Some foreign cities have utilized the platform to prosper the commercial environment,in fact,the advantages of platform space make people to do more outdoor activities.However,the platform space is not widely used or designed in our country,the building developers are lack of attention of the advantages of the platform space,nor the positive effect in the neighborhood interaction.This study focuses on neighborhood interaction,analysis the design of platform space in residential area.Though the study of domestic and foreign articles,the application of PSPL survey method,image analysis and other methods,the study shows the interaction of residents in the neighborhood with a platform.It is expected that this study could make designers to pay more attention to the value of the platform space,and to provide reference for the architectural design which cares more about the neighborhood communication.As a result,this thesis is divided into three parts for research.The first chapter expounds the review of relevant research literature,introduces the background of this study,the topic of this article reason,the range of the research,so as its purpose and significance.it paves the way for the following analysis for the following statement.The second chapter summarizes the characteristics of neighborhood communication,andthe material conditions for these characteristics,then it describes the evolution,formation and problems of the platform space.This paper explains the advantages and potential difficulty of platform space in enhancing neighborhood communication.The content of this chapter is the basic analysis of neighborhood communication and residential space with a platform.After clarifying basic knowledge,the third chapter makes a field investigation and questionnaire interview on the East Lake village,Tianjin Chuanfu village,Hong Kong Tsuen Wan center,and the platform of the three residential areas and the neighborhood communication.After a long-time testing of practice,these three mature communities have formed a regular neighborhood environment,can truly reflect the effect of platform in the neighborhood interaction.The fourth chapter is to further analyze the phenomenon in the research.Combined with practical examples,the paper analyzes the characteristics of the platform space,such as the flow of people,space,three-dimensional plane,etc.In the investigation,the phenomenon of neighborhood communication and the "5W model" are combined,and the characteristics of the platform space are discussed,which is how to cater to the special needs of neighborhood communication,and how to meet the material conditions of their needs.Through the analysis of both the theory and practice,people can understand the factors which affect the neighborhood interaction in the platform space more objectively.The fifth chapter is based on the previous theoretical and empirical research,and puts forward the principles and strategies of the platform space design which is beneficial to the neighborhood communication.For the promotion of neighborhood communication,it illustrates from four angles respectively: space,place,ecology and function.There are principles form both four aspects,and specific ways to create a platform for residential space.This chapter summarizes the design principles and methods which are based on the results of the analysis,so it has a certain value as a reference.The sixth chapter is a case study of Tsuen Wan center from Hong Kong.Hong Kong Special Administrative Region builds some mature platform based on the knowledge of public space and social background,platforms are highly acceptable for the residents,and the residents there form a mature and clear understanding about how to live with the platform.There are successful,and both unsuccessful cases in these examples,all provides good materials for us to study the platform space and neighborhood communication.
