With the advantages of pure electric logistics vehicle in the field of urban distribution continue to highlight,the VAN logistic vehicle because of its small size,good safety,strong adaptability,suitable for short distance transportation and other characteristics has become the first choice of urban logistics transportation.Urban logistics transportation also put forward higher requirements for the appearance design of transport vehicles.Meanwhile,aiming at the problems of energy saving and environmental protection design concept and lack of endurance mileage of electric logistics vehicles.This paper is based on the automobile aerodynamics,influence of design variables on the vehicle aerodynamic drag coefficient,summarize the regularity and choose a design prototype which has lower drag coefficient,using the method of modeling design based on the design prototype of excellent aerodynamic characteristics,to design a VAN electric logistics vehicles which aerodynamic drag coefficient is 0.4297,aimed at reducing energy consumption from the perspective of modeling.The main contents and features are as follows:(1)Based on the basic theory of automobile aerodynamics,analyzed the driving forces of different models are used to overcome the aerodynamic drag as a percentage of total resistance,and the composition of aerodynamic drag.To make clear the importance of aerodynamics to the modeling and performance of the vehicle.(2)According to MIRA international standard model of straight back type as the object,the CFD numerical simulation of each step were analyzed and verified from topological reconstruction,mesh generation,boundary condition and control equations.Proved the reliability and credibility of the CFD numerical simulation method used in this paper,laid the foundation for the following research.(3)Using the CFD numerical simulation to study the influence of the design variables of the Y0 line of the MIRA standard model straight back model on the aerodynamic drag.Analysis of its variation,and the results show that with the angle of the underbody upswept angle of front,the angle of bonnet,the tilt angle of the front windshield and the tilt angle of the head cover increase,and the aerodynamic drag coefficient decreases gradually.With the angle of the underbody upswept angle of rear increases,the value is decreases first and then increases,the lowest value is obtained at 4 degrees.According to the analysis results,constructed the design model of VAN electric logistics vehicle.(4)Analyzes the difference between the structure and the shape of the electric and traditional automobile,and the advantages of the VAN electric logistics vehicle in the urban logistics transportation.And on the basis of the prototype design the front face,side,box and so on.Design a VAN electric logistics vehicles with a fast,smart,clean,natural appearance features,and the aerodynamic drag coefficient is 0.4297.In this paper,using the method of modeling design based on the design prototype of excellent aerodynamic characteristics,combined with automobile aerodynamics and design aesthetics to design a VAN electric logistics vehicle.Based on the study of the MIRA standard model,obtained the influence law of the design variables on the aerodynamic characteristics.Put forward some suggestions for the research of automotive aerodynamics and the design of the automobile.
