Research On Cost Control Of Construction Project Based On EPC

With the development of China construction engineering market,the EPC contract model that involve design,procurement and construction has came into being.Compared with the traditional contract model,the EPC contract model in both project management and in terms of cost control has its own unique place.However,the contractor in EPC mode to avoid the risk of their own while ignoring design,procurement and construction stage of cost control,pay more time in the pursuit of local minimum cost and the actual cost of consumption,ignoring the method of each stage is better cost control.Based on the characteristics and present situation of project cost control in EPC project,be analyzed and identified the factors which affect the project cost,and the corresponding control measures or countermeasures are put forward.First of all,be analyzed the cost control theory of EPC project.According to the characteristics of the EPC project and the existing problems which it has,analysis the main content of the cost control and the specific work process under the EPC project.Depending on the different characteristics of EPC project,put forward various stages corresponding to the cost control model.Secondly,analyze the influence factors and control methods of the design,procurement and construction of EPC contract mode,and respectively take the value engineering method,the analytic hierarchy process and the earned value method to analyze the cost control of each stage.At the same time,considering the project quality,schedule,cost and effect in the whole project construction period.As for the results were analyzed by a series of evaluation indexes,find out the reason for the cost of deviation,and choose the best scheme.Finally,according to the different stages of the project construction period,the allocation of resources input,and the complexity of the implementation model of project cost control.It can make the whole EPC project cost control to achieve optimal and provide the basis of cost control for the project decision-making.
