Lithium-ion batteries are widely used in various types of electronic products,electric vehicles and other fields because of its high specific energy,low self-discharge rate,long cycle life,no pollution and so on,and have become one of the secondary batteries with best development prospects.With the development of economic globalization,the competition of products is becoming more and more intense,and the replacement speed of lithium-ion batteries is so fast.In order to design the customized products which meet the needs of users,companies need to adjust the structure of lithium-ion batteries,the preparation of material composition and manufacturing process to.At present,companies often manufacture products many times based on the experiments to develop the lithium-ion batteries which meet the needs of users,which cause low efficiency and time-consuming.So there is an urgent need to improve the level of product innovation design.In order to design the customized product of lithium-ion batteries which meet the customize needs of users,this paper proposes a solution to solve the contradictions between the demands of users and the characteristics of engineering technology by combining the application of extension design theory and quality function deployment(QFD)method.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper analyzes the user requirements of lithium-ion batteries in product planning stage based on the QFD method.The fuzzy programming is used to quantify the uncertainty of the demands to obtain the importance weight of the demands,and the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used to judge the relationship between the demands and the characteristics of engineering technology.Also the product planning houses of quality is established to analyze the contradictions between demands and characteristics,and a complex solution model based on QFD and extension design is constructed.(2)The extension model of contradiction problem in lithium-ion batteries is established by using the extension design theory.The target element are the users' demands and the conditional element are the engineering technology characteristics of lithium-ion batteries.The nuclear problem of the conflict is found through the extension analysis of the extension model,and whether the contradiction is incompatible problem is determined through the calculation of the compatibility.(3)Using the generation method of extension strategy,The method of extension transformation is used in the characteristics of engineering technology like the structure of pole core,electrode materials,electrolytes and adhesives,and the optimization strategy is found that the incompatible issues translate into the compatibility issues to get the solution of contradictions in lithium-ion batteries.(4)On the basis of the above theoretical research,this paper develops a new type of silicon-based graphene lithium-ion battery by improving the structure of the battery pole core,developing the battery automatic slicer and replacing the silicon-based graphene composite electrode material with the negative graphite through a series of case studies,and test the feasibility of the new type of lithium-ion batteries by performing electrochemical performance tests to verify the feasibility of the extension solution.Practice has proved that the design method of product based on the extension design and QFD can effectively improves the development speed and innovation level of lithium-ion batteries,and greatly enhances the market competitiveness of companies.
