The inverters are commonly used in photo voltaic power generation,uninterrupt power supply and transportation and other industrial fields.The function of the inverter is to convert the DC power supply to an AC power supply in order to supply power to devices which need AC voltage.Therefore,it's crucial to control its current and voltage appropriately to make it provide a good quality sine wave.Inverters using conventional control strategy often have a high switching frequency and huge switching loss,thus reducing the switching losses of the inverter are necessary,by doing so the output performances of the inverters can be improved.In this research,the switching frequency and switching losses of the inverter has been reduced by using Phase-Shift Self-Oscillation control strategy.While by using linearization model of the system,the PID parameters can be settled,which improves the tracking ability of the inverter further more.The main research work and conclusions are as follow:Firstly,the basic working principle of the most basic current phase-shifted self-oscillating inverter has been introduced in the beginning,thereafter by using linearization method the basic and improved linear mathematical model of the system has been found.Based on this,linear mathematical model of the voltage inverter can be obtained,meanwhile the PID parameters of voltage inverter can be settled.Secondly,according to the parameters of design requirements,the simulation models of inverter using Phase-Shift Self-Oscillation control strategy has been established by using software MATLAB/Simulink,to verify the feasibility of inductive coupling with the control strategy feasibility,and getting ready for prototyping experiments.Finally,a 1kW prototype has been fabricated.The control system has been built based on DSP TMS320F28335.The comparison between the output and drive wave of inverter with and without Phase-Shift Self-Oscillation control strategy has been done under the condition of 0.99 k W input power.Also the working effectiveness has beentested under different load conditions.The experimental results show that the Phase-Shift Self-Oscillation control strategy can reduce the switching frequency without changing the output performance and the efficiency.The correctness and feasibility of Phase-Shift Self-Oscillation control strategy and experimental prototype design are verified by the experimental results.
