| Compared with the traditional rotating fan,the air supply system based on the corona discharge theory has the advantages of low noise,no motor,no fan,no mechanical wear and simple structure of components.It can satisfy the use of air flow,ESP,heat transfer and other aspects of the application.The use of ion wind air accelerator for large wind speed,large flow of air transport is an important direction of developing the ion wind technology,but the current air supply system can only supply low flow,low wind speed,low Energy conversion efficiency,which will limit the application of the air supply system in aspect of air transport,so it is significant to improve the performance of the air supply system.Firstly,recognized the corona discharge and ion wind effects from the principle,analyzed the physical process of corona discharge and the formation mechanism of ion wind effect and confirmed the main charging particles that caused the ion wind effect.At the same time,the energy conversion of corona discharge is analyzed experimentally.The results show that most of the energy of corona discharge is converted into heat energy,so the electric conversion efficiency of corona discharge is very low for ion wind.At last,analyzed the energy conversion of differernt electrode structure under different corona discharge process and the factors which influence the ion wind effect,thus put forward the methods to improve the performance of ion wind.Secondly,based on the idea of increasing the ionization rate and the electric field between the el ectrodes,the method of optimizing the electric field and accelerating the electric field to improve the ion wind effect is put forward.A better discharge structure was designed to improve the ionization rate in the channel with cylindrical electrode and equalize the electrica field with additional ring electrode.It is found that the use of cylindrical electrode can improve the flow rate kinetic energy,energy conversion efficiency and other properties,the use of additional ring electrode can reduce the discharge current and improve the energy conversion efficiency.Then,based on the coupling optimization of excitation electric field and accelerating electric field,the experimental study on the structure of cylinder-ring-grid electrode was carried out,the results show that the ion wind effect of the cylinder-ring-grid electrode structure is stronger than that of the cylinder-grid electrode,but it is lower than the needle-ring-grid electrode structure in the energy conversion efficiency and the flow generated by unit power.At last,compared the ion wind effect of each electrode structure and analyzed the influence of the additional ring electrode on corona discharge and ion wind effect.Thirdly,the use of multi-stage structure for continuous air supply is an important means to achieve a large area and larege flow of ion air,this chapter first analyzed the interaction between the electrodes which in the muti-electoode structure based on the ideas of flow field optimization,and proposed a better multi-electrode arrangement scheme.Then,from the angle of electric field acceleration and superposition of flow field,compared the performance of the series and parallel structure.Further,optimization of multi-stage flow field matching was studied and a reasonable scheme of multi-stage structure was given.Fourthly,the influence of the applied magnetic field on the ion wind effect of the corona discharge is explored.Based on the idea of lifting the ion wind effect from no external power consumption with strong magnetic field,this paper analyzed the motion of the charged particles under the action of the electromagnetic field and considered the feasibility to enhance the ion wind effect under the use magnetic field.Then researched the influence of the ion wind effect and measured the discharge characteristics and ion wind which produced by the needle-grid electrode structure which worked under the magnetic field perpendicular to the direction of the electric field.Results show that the magnetic field has a great effect on the negative corona ion wind effect.Finally,the performance of the positive and negative corona ion wind effect in the magnetic field awere compared and analyzed.It was found that the effect of the magnetic field on the posotive corona discharge is small.The rate of change of the wind speed of positive corona discharge at the same measured point is less than that of negative corona discharge.Base on all the experimental results,it is possible to enhance the ion wind effect under strong magnetic field. |
