This paper adopts the method of combining artificial lighting and natural light adjusting,aims to discuss the problem of luminous environment constructing of highway tunnels.This paper starts from drivers,mentality and physiological needs to improve traffic safety and driving comfort.According to reasonably set artificial lighting and adjust natural light,to reduce the required time of light adaptation and dark adaptation,improve drivers,distinguishing degree of visual objects on the road,adjust drivers,impatient emotion and mental tension when driving on highway tunnels road,thus improve safety and comfort driving on highway tunnels road.This paper begins with medicine,psychology,and optics,aims to discuss drivers,physiological and mental feature in different driving and lighting conditions.This paper bases on optics,combines with the physiological structure of human eyes,the relationship among natural light,electrical lighting and vision during driving especially on highway tunnels road has been discussed.Some visual problems encountered by drivers on tunnels road have been researched.Combining with features of tunnels road,the method of eliminating visual problems of tunnels road through constructing luminous environment inside and outside tunnel groups has been put forward that is reducing the time of human eyes adapting luminous environment changes through illumination intensity,ambient brightness of tunnel road shift smoothly.Combining with luminous environment construction effects of Liangshan tunnel groups,the rationality of setting greenbelts and lamps has been analyzed and the theory has been verified.Some research achievements of luminous environment constructing of highway tunnels and tunnel groups home and abroad has been digested and absorbed in this paper.Combining with some developed theoretical methods of landscape architecture,a model,the relationship between trees planted density outside the tunnels with trees decreasing light efficiency has been put forward.A new train of thought for tunnel landscape designing,light designing and scientific researching,and references for highway tunnels operating units and construction units can be provided.
