The safety in operation of highway tunnel is influenced by the weather,speed and traffic of outside the tunnel,the conditions of artificial lighting is also important conditions to influence the safety of tunnel operation.The luminous environment of the highway tunnel is a dynamic and complex system environment,which is influenced by the spectral composition of the light source and the characteristics of the color temperature and so on under the specific natural environment of the tunnel.The requirements of highway tunnel lighting for drivers to provide luminous environment of more safe? stable? comfortable and quick,and also have the characteristics of intelligent?low cost and low energy consumption.In order to make tunnel lighting more high efficient and energy conservation and the economic benefits of tunnel lighting schemes improved,this paper studies the driver's visual demand and the theory of the light source characteristics,the characteristics of the tunnel lighting source and the driver's recognition requirement under different light environment characteristics on the basis of the tunnel lighting index and the lighting control technology under various working conditions.In view of the characteristics of geographical location? topographic condition?climatic conditions?tunnel structure and pavement conditions of the mountain tunnels in Gansu Province,taking the Chicken-Mineyama tunnel from Shiyan to Tianshui expressway(Gansu section)as the research object,the test method what dynamic and static real vehicle visual recognition is combined with the driver to obtain the driver's dynamic visual recognition rule.By adjusting the installation position and angle of the tunnel luminaire and recognition test of driver,the feedback data of the visual recognition for the small target in the process of driving are collected.Combined with the static test results,the quantitative logic relationship model analysis method was established by MATLAB,and the demand index to meet the visual recognition of the driving was studied and the economic benefits before and after the change of the tunnel lighting scheme were evaluated.The study shows that the purpose of selecting the tunnel artificial lighting environment which is more favorable to the driver's safety recognition can be achieved by the difference of color temperature and index of the tunnel inside and outside the tunnel can be changed in a certain range under the light environment of different tunnels.A kind of color temperature luminaire can be developed by using the conclusion of this paper in practical application.Meanwhile,the control principle and implementation technology of tunnel under different weather? time periods and working conditions are obtained with the conclusion of luminance threshold value of light source,which can be realized the purpose of effective energy saving on the basis of improving the safety?stability and comfort of the tunnel.At the same time,the conclusions of the research are applied to the Chicken-Mineyama tunnel,and the economic benefits are evaluated according to the actual lighting changes.Through calculating,final results indicate that there is the obvious advantages in terms of energy saving after the change.
