Research On The Urban Ecological Corridor Planning Based On Sponge City

The rapid advance of urbanization has changed the natural hydrological process of the city.The cities are facing a variety of water problems such as urban waterlogging and flooding,in the background of global warming.Based on the theories and practices of “Sponge City” and urban ecological corridor,this paper points out the planning strategy of the urban ecological corridor with the concept of “Sponge City”,and takes the central green corridor of Fengxi New City as the empirical research object,by the review of the domestic and foreign literature,the interdisciplinary research,and the research methods of induction and deduction.First of all,the combination of the concepts of the sponge city and urban ecological corridor is of great significance.The urban ecological corridors are built to solve the series problem of the urban waterlogging and shortage of the water resources,which are taken by the urbanization and the industrialization.And by using the technology of the city rainwater management facilities,the urban ecological corridors are formed by storm water control and storage and utilization,with the function of the urban landscape,leisure and so on.Secondly,by comparing the traditional ecological corridor and the urban ecological corridor that combines the concept of the sponge city,and analyzing the feature of the spongy ecological corridor: comprehensive,flexibility and adaptability,multi-function and mixed use,and maximize the utilization of rainwater resources.The spongy ecological corridor has the function of absorbing water,conserving water,cleansing water,releasing water.At the same time,the spongy ecological corridor is a unique and beautiful scenery of the city.By combining the function of the sightseeing,leisure,entertainment,ecology,and the function of the basic infrastructure.The social,economic and ecological value and efficiency of urban land use are greatly increased.Finally,in order to improve the comprehensive benefits of eco-corridors under the guidance of sponge city,we must not only to satisfy the requirement of the sponge urban rain flood utilization technology,but also must combine with the ecological environment,social demand,economic efficiency,regional culture.Therefore,this paper puts forward four design strategies of ecology,function,image and culture of the urban ecological corridor,and takes Fengxi New City in Xixian New District as an empirical study.As the guidance of rainwater collecting and reusing,adjusting the rainwater pipe network and the road system,using the collected water to irrigate plants and create water features.In the green gallery within the shape of the earth landscape,the construction of urban slow-moving system and the theme of cultural parks,etc.,to further display the landscape image of the green corridor and humanistic care.
