The composite rock wool thermal insulation board which is used for the building exterior walls is a novel composite board with external thermal insulation.The board has many advantages such as non-demoulding,excellent heated insulation performance,convenient operation and high safety.Based on theoretical analysis and experimental test,composition and structure of the composite board were designed and the thermal performance of the board was analysed in this paper.Furthermore,the bending performance and impact resistance of the composite board are tested reliably.Finally this paper proposes the construction technology of the composite rock wool thermal insulation board.Firstly,the rock wool insulation board,cold drawn low carbon steel wire and polymer mortar are chosen to be the main composition materials of the board.Thus,the design of the structure of the novel composite board is proposed that the structure framework is made up of galvanized low carbon steel wire and in the pramework the rock wool board as insulation layer is placed with both sides adhering to a layer of polymer mortar.Besides this paper proposes the installation and maintenance method of the composite rock wool thermal insulation board.Secondly,this paper analyses the thermal performance of the composite board through the theoretical calculation including heat transfer coefficient,heat transfer resistance,thermal inertia and so on.The influence of the wire insertion rate on the thermal performance of the composite rock wool thermal insulation board is deeply investigated,and the result shows that the thermal performance reduces remarkably with the wire insertion rate increasing.When the wire insertion rate increases from 0% to 0.2%,the decreasing range of the thermal resistance R0 is 46.5%~57.9%;and the average of heat transfer coefficient declines in between 56.3% and 49.7%.Thirdly,this paper confirms serviceability limit load and the ultimate load capacity of the composite rock wool thermal insulation board,and the force state of composite boards during the pouring concrete process is discussed.Based on the impact resistance test,the range of ultimate load under normal use for the composite board is 8.4KN/m~10.08 KN/m and the range of maximum bending moment is 262.5N·m~337.5 N·m with a 500 mm.The result of the impact resistance test indicates that the composite rock wool thermal insulation board could resist the impact load on the condition that the height of free fall is 1m and the impact mass is 10 kg and the impact number is 50 times.Finally,this paper presents the construction technology of the composite rock wool thermal insulation board and introduces the essential construction processes;at the same time,the acceptance plan of engineering quality and the acceptance criteria for construction are proposed.
