Traffic is a basic pillar of urban development.With the advancement of urbanization,the traffic problem has been influencing the full play of the city function and city sustainable development of a global problem.Rail transit has a high energy saving,big capacity,punctuality,comfort,all-weather,the advantages of less pollution,is the good medicine to solve the problem of urban traffic.But as rail transit investment of the metropolitan area will more and more,city rail transit line network is more and more intensive,rail line network planning of urban rail transit network in the hierarchy and pattern classification problem involves very little,and the lack of urban rail transit network and the thinking of the construction of the model system.In this paper,from the level of the urban rail line network hierarchy,patterns,choose study of three questions,reasonable choice for metropolitan area rail transit planning network level,level,and the pattern of each line problem,put forward a complete set of research methods.The rail line network level,based on the length of line in every area ratio and passenger flow characteristics,adopts the quantitative method to differentiate.In view of the line network level,this paper adopts the method of grey fixed weight clustering is put forward,select index quantitative,will line network was divided into four levels.At last each line of mode selection,this paper adopts “Analytic hierarchy Process-Entropy calculate-Grey correlation comprehensive decision-making model”,for each line in line network,study on decision-making mode selection.Finally this article by an example of the xi 'an metropolitan area rail line network,collect related data,the above mentioned methods of xi 'an metropolitan area rail lines,the levels of hierarchy and the pattern of each line decision research,eventually get the corresponding conclusions.
