Tire wear particles are produced on the interface between tire tread and road, which have much negative influence on the environment and people's health. Therefore,it is significant on collecting and capturing the tire wear particles. In this thesis,a two-dimensional model for tire wear particles scattering was established based on the analytical method and the influence of various factors on wear particles motion was analyzed.Firstly,a two-dimensional physical model for spherical tire wear particle was established considering air flow field inspired by tire moving and tire rotation based on Lagrangian method. The velocity distribution of boundary layer near the tire surface was obtained utilizing Blasius method. The trajectories of wear debris were obtained under multi-flow fields utilizing the Runge-Kutta method. The positions' distribution of particle colliding with covering parts was discussed under different velocities.Secondly, the experiment for wear particles colliding with covering parts was carried out.The experiment equipments, such as the tire rotation test bench, were applied.Tire wear particles under different velocities and contact path were collected on the tire rotation test bench.Wear particles size was observed by VH-Z100 UR type optical microscope on the collection films for exploring the distribution of the wear particles. The physical model was verified by comparing with the experimental and numerical results.Thirdly, the influence of the parameters of tire structure and maneuver conditions including tire radius and distance between tire and covering parts, slip rate, velocity and contact length on the distribution of collision position were investigated. The force on tire wear particles were also analyzed during they motion. Finally, the orthogonal test with five factors and three levels with interaction were carried out to investigate the influence of various factors on particle trajectories. The impact of factors and optimal combination of the collision position on the covering parts were obtained by range analysis, variance analysis and factor level trend diagram. The proposed model for tire wear particle scattering will help exploring the relationships between tire wear particles motion track and relevant physical parameters. The results can provide a new thought on designing the device in order to capture and collect tire wear particles to reduce the pollution of tire wear particles.
