Electrical connectors are widely used in various electrical circuits to realize the transmission and electrical connection of electrical signals,the reliability of which will directly affect the safety operation of the systems.The contacts are the core part of the electrical connectors,and the reliability of the system is largely determined by the reliability of the electrical connector.The contact parts of the electrical connector will produce micro deformation,which will produce stress relaxation in a long time under the vibration state and will decrease the contact force and increase the contact resistance,thereby cause contact failure.So,it is significant to study on the testing technology of contacts deformation of electrical connectors under the condition of vibration.In this paper,a type of circular electric connectors is selected for studying on the deformation testing technology of electrical connector under vibration condition.Firstly,according to the structural characteristics of the electrical connector contacts,the model of the electric connector contact deformation is established;by comparing and analyzing various kinds of deformation testing methods,the deformation measurement method for the contact parts of electrical connector is determined.Secondly,the paper proposes a kind of contact deformation test plan,including the vibration excitation condition,the test sample preparation,the test content,etc.Thirdly,the design of the experimental device of the contacts deformation of electrical connectors is completed and the experiment is carried out.Finally,the influence law of the frequency,amplitude and acceleration of the vibration on the deformation of the electrical connector is analyzed by the test data,and the change characteristics of the insertion force and the contact resistance of electrical connectors,is consistent to the influence law.
