ABS(Anti-lock Braking System)was designed to avoid the danger when the car occurred emergency braking.ABS can prevent the car's brake from locking,then avoid the potential accident,so during the driving the security and reliability of the braking system must to be sure.When the braking system break down,in order to make sure the security of driving rapid diagnose and maintenance must to be adopt.Now at the field of fault diagnosis,expert systems,pattern recognition and many other technology has brought a lot of new topics for fault diagnosis academic research both native and foreign.Among this,the idea of use fault diagnosis expert system to simulation field experts to solve complex problems has developed into the main stream direction of the new generation of fault diagnosis technology.Take hydraulic automotive ABS system as the research object,analysis the principle of the ABS system and common faults,at the same time based on the characteristic of fault tree analysis when it used in fault diagnose field a ABS fault tree model is established.In order to fix the problem that hard to acquire the probability of base events in a fault tree,a fuzzy evaluation matrix is brought in,the fuzzy probability of the base events is acquired,then a qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation is deployed on the fault tree,then apply the analysis result to the design of experts system knowledge base and inference engine,so for the hardship of acquire knowledge for expert systems also solved.This is how the combine of fault diagnosis and the expert system is applied to the ABS fault diagnosis.Then make use of SQL Server2008 database and Visual Studio2010,a ABS fault diagnosis management system based on the fault tree and expert system was implemented,and use the OBD-II interface to read the fault information of ECU(Electronic Control Unit)simulator then debug the ABS fault diagnosis management system.The experiments proved that the intelligent diagnostic system can meet the basic needs of the design,also the system is quite easy to operate and implement.It also shows the accuracy and feasibility that trying to apply combination of the fault tree and expert system to the ABS fault diagnosis.
