| China's urban construction is in the stage of rapid development. Five national Western new districts construct rapidly under economic westward background. Gui'an is one of them. It is located in the southwest area between Guiyang and Anshun city. It has beautiful landscape and the location is crucial. Its construction is important to the Guizhou province and southwestern economic development.Rapid urban construction exposed many problems in the past. Cultural crisis of same-looking of thousands cities and ecological crisis of disaster-prone are the two main problems. The project is selected in a national new Gui'an district. Facing such prominent landscape, how to avoid past faults and how to solve both ecology and culture crisis are two important topics.This project is a Lakeside park design located in the ecological new city of Gui'an new district. The goal is to discuss when building a new city in such prominent landscape, how to use landscape planning as the media, protecting ecological environment while conveying regional culture.The style of Gui'an new city master plan is focusing on the feature city of Shan-shui and field-garden. Its urban planning vision just matches with the concept of Shan-shui city. Developing Gui'an new city is a great opportunity to apply the concept of Shan-shui city from the beginning of the planning process throughout the entire design. This is a valuable opportunity to build an ideal city. The Shan-shui city, which is declaimed by Mr. Qian, Xuesen, is an idea for solving ecological crisis and cultural crisis. The purpose is to create the living environment of natural and city harmonious development. It has aroused extensive and lively discussion for forty years and its exploring becomes mature. The appearance of Shan-shui city is gradually clearer in our mind with the continuous improvement, update and practice of urban planning theory. In order to show the landscape planning approach of Shan-shui city, this project is utilizing mountain, water and city as research factors. By analyzing the relationship among mountain, water and city through Chinese and foreign planning concept and studying cases, the main planning strategy is generated from planning, landscape to details design process, and then finally applying the strategy into this project. In the planning process, creating the green infrastructure network. In the landscape design process, basing on the network, planning the landscape from human sense. In the detail design process, express the city culture into the details; gradually seep through human sense, expressing the feature site feeling of Shan-shui. Eventually, it forms a landscape design roots in local natural landscape and human culture. |
