| In the development process of modern cities,city watercourse has played an irreplaceable role and became one of the important factor in influencing the urban look.For the narrow urban watercourse,rigid form,water contamination,lack of recreation ground,and other issues,from 70’s in last century,developed western countries started reflecting on watercourse’s design concept and realized that it’s a complicated system project,which can’t improve flood control capacity by simply dredging river and banking but from a point of environmental protection to recover watercourse ecosystem.In China,the construction thought of urban watercourse has evolved into a new one of developing landscape,water conservation,ecosystem and other functions jointly with the ambition of protecting environment: Urban watercourse construction comes into a new area therefore.Differing from general natural watercourse,urban one is influenced by surrounding land-use,urban facilities,history humanism and other factors,and its designation method is also different.Apart from the consideration of the function and form itself,it still needs to make overall arrangements with the surrounding urban relationship and balance functions of water conservancy preventing flood and landscape ecology to build urban watercourse ecological landscape with a harmonious coexistence between human and water.In order to achieve this ambition,the designer were asked to utilize the thought of landscape and water conservancy integration,starting from an overall function pattern and balancing relationship between functions to find the most suitable design direction,and handle all kinds of issues from sustainable development.Urban watercourse designation is a comprehensive research study,involving many professional theories and site factors.This thesis,starting from urban watercourse theory and practice,has came to a conclusion of designation process of landscape and water conservancy integration by studying Landscape Hydrology,Landscape Ecology,Eco-hydraulics and other subject theories,and improved relative designation methods of urban watercourse landscape enhancement from project practice in Huadu Xinjie River.On the one hand,researching in landscape and water conservancy integration theory has contributed designers to consider river process location,benefit distribution,cultural protection,tourism resources integration,ecological restoration and other planning issues in a large scale.Combined with planning thought,from a macro-perspective,function division,spatial form and other contents should be arranged reasonably to avoid issues like single function,rigid form and lack of ecology.On the other hand,researching in landscape and water conservancy integration theory has contributed designers to consider how to improve relative subsidiary facilities in watercourse on the basis of meeting water conservancy and other factors for building a safe,comfortable,artistic,and various waterfront landscape environment,including contents like waterfront square designation,revetment designation,subsidiary facilities designation,road system designation,aquatic plant designation in a large scale.I expect that urban watercourse designation method researched in this thesis can provide some references in this kind of project designation in future. |
