Transmission Line And Transformer Cascading Fault Analysis And Precautionary Measures

With acceleration of power grid construction,the increasingly complicate power grid structure exerts great pressure on operation of facilities like circuits and transformers.Malfunctions of circuit and transformers always occur,causing cascading faults of circuits and transformers.In order to increase power system operation reliability,it’s necessary to analyze circuit transformer malfunctions and put forward relative measures.According to typical malfunctions about circuits and transformers in CSG from 2008 to 2013,this paper figures out the causes of transformer malfunctions which are mainly resulted from circuits,and proposes some relative precautionary measures.The main points as below:(1)Classified and analyzed 164 cases and found out their primary causes and secondary causes.Based on 10 typical malfunctions cases,this paper analyzed the main cause of circuit transformer cascading malfunction.(2)According to one case of circuit transformer cascading malfunction,this paper worked out its process and primary cause,proceeding an entire simulation analysis.(3)Proposed measures to reduce transformer malfunctions caused by circuits.In terms of circuit malfunctions reduction,channels cut-off from circuits to transformers,endurance promotion of transformer to short circuits,the paper put forward measures to reduce circuit transformer cascading malfunction.During design periods,transformers should be projected in the long term.Detailed instructions and facilities quality should be both considered.Construction sites should be supervised and evaluated strictly.In operation,maintenance should be conducted thoroughly and all faults should be solved punctually.
