Stamping for automotive cover panels is different from the general stamping,because of their characteristic,and have been studied as a special kind of stamping forming process.The variable blank holder force(BHF)technology plays an important role in sheet metal forming especially for automotive cover panels.The variable BHF technology has made great progress under the hard work of researchers all over the world.But it is still not applied broadly in industry up to now.This thesis takes up automotive door deep drawing as study object and aluminum alloy sheet metals as major study material.Through numerical simulation and experiments,the forming characteristic and effects of stamping of automotive door has been systematically studied.Through stamping forming numerical simulation and experimental of aluminum alloy hemispherical part,stamping performance of aluminum alloy plates used in automotive cover panels is got.In car door numerical simulation,through scanning and data processing,mathematical model is established.By building stamping direction and process addendum design,the FEM model is built.Through Giving different blank-holder force values,simulation results without drawbead was got,and blank holder force effects on forming results was studied.Then by establishing different drawbead mathematical model,different effects on car door forming with different drawbead model are studied using numerical simulation technology.Finally effects on aluminum alloy plates forming with different process holes is studied.This chapter research provides references for effects on aluminum alloy automotive panels forming with the BHF,drawbead and process hole.After designing and manufacturing car door die according to the simulation results,experimental results can be studied.In car door experiments,a 120 t hydraulic press is used.In order to get the relationship between pressure and displacement,pressure and displacement sensors is used.Through experimental analysis,the simulation results above and effects on stamping forming with different BHFs,drawbeads and process holes are validated and provide some references for the further study of aluminum alloy cover panels stamping.
