The Analysis And Application Of Space Of The Patio Residence In Southeastern Hubei

With the development of China’s economy,China achieved urbanization in a very short time,many contradictions and problems arise in the process of urban and rural development.With the fast development of global economic integration,the world culture especially the western modern culture has a heavy influence on the development of China’s urbanization,Chinese architectural culture now is facing an unprecedented challenge.China’s architectural culture is an outstanding heritage of the Chinese nation with a long history.From palace gardens to residence yard,have already became an icon and symbol of Chinese culture.However,the fast development of the city leading to an imbalance in the development of urban and rural places.The imbalance rural development is not only related to the residents’ life,more related to local history.These distinctive ancient houses are gradually disappearing in people’s field of vision,from the hometown people’s life as time passed by.As the main part of the vernacular architecture,the research on residential architecture has become a hot topic today.In this paper,I will use my own way to study and explore this issue,through the investigation and analysis of ancient houses in the Yangtze River Basin,the continuation of the residential buildings to express my views.Patio residence is a special Chinese residence at the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtse River basin.As time passed by,it changes with the surrounding environment,has became an indispensable residence to the local people.The function and influence of the special space organization of patio have a significance meaning for learning and researching to us.This paper is mainly about the patio residence of the southeastern Hubei province,analyzing its geography and history,learning about its space organization,and give a conclusion.This paper use a method combine large data and image to express the author’s opinion to patio residence.This paper first describes the main geographical reasons to study the formation of the patio residence and the cultural origin,investigate and analyze the Southeast Hubei special geographical environment.Then selected several Southeastern Hubei typical representative residential courtyard,summarized the spatial organization and the differences.Finally,analyzed the influence of patio residence on modern life,and the research of the use of patio’s function on modern architecture space organization.This paper expressed the special spirit of Chinese architectural culture which is peculiar to the patio residence contained,and puts forward my own views on the inheritance of the patio residence,and makes a summary of the purpose of the whole research in the end.
