As an important part of release structure,the pier is the critical stressed structure to ensure that the gate can be opened and closed properly.Because the large-scale water projects of our country are built increasingly,the radial gates receive the water thrust bigger and bigger.Giant water thrust is transferred to the pier through the bearing structure of radial gate,and a wide range of tensile stress area is developed in the body of the pier so that ordinary reinforced concrete cannot limit the distribution of tensile stress.Therefore prestressed pier is generally used by the project.Prepressing stress is exerted on the pier through the arrangement of prestressed anchor,which is aimed to counteract the tensile stress produced by arc thrust and improve stress condition of the pier.Because the loads the pier is subjected to are great and is also in a three-dimensional complex stress state in space,the actual stress state can only be simulated by 3D-FEM.The paper takes super-tonnage prestressed pier of actual engineering as a research object,and the 3D-FEM model modelling by finite element software ANSYS conducts static and dynamic analysis of all sorts of loads,which obtains the stress and deformation rules of the pier.The following content was analyzed and studied:(1)The method of applying prestress has been studied,and conventional equivalent load method in general use is improved.The conclusion is made that the improved equivalent load method is more accurate.(2)Besides analyzing the stress and deformation,the effects of temperature rise and drop are also considered.Anti-crack checking is made and references are provided for engineering design.(3)The length and the diffusion angle of pre-stressed anchor are compared and analyzed,and it is studied how the connection between the bottom of the anchor block and pier influences the stess of pier(4)Based on the analysis of stress in original design of the pier using simple anchor block,two anchor blocks are selected to compare and optimize.Then more optimized project is offered to engineering designingThe analyzing results of the stress and deformation in the paper provide the basis for setting the non prestressed steel of pier.The research results have great guiding significance to structural design of similar projects.
