Three-row roller slewing bearings have the characteristics of strong bearing capacity,compact structure and so on.These characteristics make it widely used in different kinds of large equipment in the aera of engineering machinery,hoisting and conveying machinery and tunnel machinery and so on.The load distribution of the slewing bearing,especially each roller's cantact stress,is always the emphasis of the design of rolling bearing and the core of the research of life and reliablity.There has been lots of researches for single roller's contact.However,slewing bearings' loading situation is more complex as the combined action of axial load and capsizing moment.So,further study is necessary.Based on the principle of influence coefficient,a numerical solution method is put forward in this article.The method can calculate stress distribution of the whole bearing and cantact stress of single rolling element.It also takes the edge effect into account and make the result more accurate.To verify its accuracy of stress distribution of the roller,a digital photoelastic experiment is done.Also,the FEM was used to verify the loading distribution,Firstly,the paper introduces and compares the advantages and disadvantages of different calculation method fo calculating the slewing bearing distribution,and points out the applicable scope of various methods.The numerical solution based on the influence coefficient which can calculate the distribution of slewing bearing was introduced in detail.In order to ensure both the applicability of the method and computational efficiency,the study object is simplified to be the rotary support of 8 rollers.And then the contact aera of rolling body and roller is determined with the Hertz contact theory.The aera is magnified and divided into recangular mesh.The equation of the matrix is constructed based on the principle of deformation and the geometrical relationship of the nodes.And the equation is sovled and the stress and deformation of the contact aera is obtained.Secondly,photoelastic experiment will be designed and completed based on the experiment condition and load sitution of the roller bearing.Digital photoelastic software is used for obtailing the stress distribution inside the model.The contact model of rolling element and rollaway nest is established.And solving the model can provide the internal stress distribution of the rolling body,too.Combining the two calcultation results can verify the stress distribution results of the numerical solution.In addition,the FEM model of the simplified rotary support model is established and calculted in the paper.And the purpose is to verify the correctness of the loading distribution of the numerical solution.The purpose of the article is to make the numerical method based on the influence coefficient method could be a help in the calcultion and designing of rolling bearings.
