The large-scale development of wind power industry is to solve the shortage of energy and power in China.The small wind turbine equipment has the advantages of low cost,no pollution,low energy consumption,flexible and diverse structure,easy installation,operation and maintenance.However,many techniques of wind power generator is still immature,especially small wind turbines,as one of the key parts of bearing also face many challenges.The existing small wind turbine starting resistance,resulting in high starting speed,so the development of more suitable for wind energy available area and small area under low wind speed.The wind power generation technology,is to expand China's wind energy utilization area Key.This paper takes a 1kW vertical axis wind turbine as the object,the first design of permanent magnetic bearing,and the design result of the bearing capacity of finite element simulation analysis was carried out using ANSYS software,simulation and theoretical analysis prove that the bearing capacity to meet the requirements.Then the assembly manufacturing finished parts,and the final product the bearing capacity test and simulation analysis of the measured results,the design is reasonable.The permanent magnet bearings installed in the comparison test of small wind turbines.By contrast,a small wind turbines of using the designed bearing than using conventional bearings starting wind speed was significantly reduced.The small wind generator can be used for wind energy resources are not abundant in the region or city,improve the utilization rate of wind energy,the national energy strategy has farreaching significance.
