The 87-type Railway Steel Beams for Rusher-repair or the 87-type beam for short,are widely used in China.The span of the bridge using the 87-type is larger than any others.The 87-type beams can be assembled quickly and used repeatedly.With simple structural components and widespread applications,the 87-type beams satisfy the demand of repairing damage railway in war time and of rescue and relief work during urgent periods.With the rapid development of society and economy,not only be the speed of railway increasing to reduce the transit time,but weights of cargos need to be enhance to have low transport costs.The experience of heavy-haul transportation around the world indicates that the best way to improve transport capacity and efficiency is to restructure and design the track bridge and subgrade equipment.It can realize the operation of heavy-haul transportation on current railway,however this improvement will cause the adaptive discussions of the 87-type beams under the effect of live loads from heavy-haul railway.The study was carried in order to slove the problem caused in the above situation,the major work and conclusions are as follows:(1)The technical conditions,characteristics,components,and bridge-spans of using the 87-type beams are introduced.(2)Different spans and structural forms of 87-type beams are established by the finite element analysis software ANSYS,and the computational analysis is conducted.(3)The strength,stiffness,stability and other mechanical properties of the structures were analyzed in detail under five different live load,and the calculation results were checked and analyzed based on “Technical rules of rush work of rail way bridge”(Trial);(4)The new scheme is proposed relied on the study of previous structures using the 87-type beams which have some limitations;Qualitative analysis is obtained,which is for mechanical properties of the bridge using the 87-type beams based on this paper.The weak parts of the bridge are found during different live loads to provide some essential improvements of installing the 87-type beam at these spots.Therefore,this study improves the adaptability of the 87-type beams under some complex situations,and provides some technical supports for the 87-type beam,which are applied into repairing after disaster damage for heavy-haul railways in the future.
