Because of the different embedded ends of structure on the slope,overturning resistant performance is significantly different from general structures.Thus,the research for overturning resistant performance of structures on the slop is an unavoidable problem.In the past,the research on overturning resistance of structures on the slope was mainly concentrated on the frame structure,and the elastic analysis method was mainly used.It is also a must for the improvement of the calculation theory for structures on the slop.To determine the checking method of overturning resistance performance of structures on the slope,the frame shear structures which are more widely used in high-rise buildings are taken as the research object,and the influence of elastic-plastic stage is taken into account in this paper.This paper strives to not only provide a more sufficient theoretical basis for overturning resistant calculation of structures on the slop,but also provide a more powerful support for the forthcoming industry norms: Design specification for building structure on the slope.According to the analysis in this paper,main conclusions are as follows:(1)For the Split Step-Terrace structure on the slope,the positive and negative overturning moment are equal without considering the soil pressure,while the former is smaller than the latter when considering the soil pressure;The overturning resistance moment of lower embedding end is less than that of upper embedding end,and the lower embedding end is selected as the overturning calculation point.(2)The overturning resistant performance decreases with increased dropped story number and increases with increased dropped span number in elastic stage.(3)The location is different for the larger ratio of overturning moment beard by frame when the position shear wall embedded changed.As in consideration of safety,it is suggested that the upper and lower embedding floor overturning moment ratio by frame should be compared and select the larger value for structure design;Compared with the shear wall arranged distracted,the overturning resistant performance is better when shear wall is arranged collected.The overturning resistant performance is poorer when shear wall is embedded to lower embedding floor than another.(4)The situation that overturning resistance safety factor could be less than 3 will appear when aspect ratio is large for frame-shear wall structure on slope.It is suggested that overturning safety factors should be studied further or aspect ratio should be limited.Overturning resistance capacity of structure on slope should be improved by some corresponding measure.(5)For the general structures on the slope,when the safety factor of the structure in the elastic stage can be guaranteed,elastic analysis can be used for checking the overturning resistance performance.
