Accompany with the development of economy and technique,various high-rise buildings have emerged in endlessly.To create distinctive landmark level building,architects should make the building facades complex and variable.Thanks to the flexibility in structural arrangement,hybrid structure has an extensive application in highrise especially super high-rise buildings.Chongqing Gaoke Sun Constellation tower is concrete filled steel tubular(CFST)columns frame-core walls structure,and CFST columns twist with the building facade.Based on the present Chinese code and specification,there are several aspects that exceed the limits.The outside frame columns twist with the building facade,that caused the vertical force is transmitted by the diagonal column and the vertical lateral force resisting members are not continuous.The tower has a setback at the roof of 33 th floor,which makes lateral stiffness irregular and the height of the structure exceeds the limit.So,taking this structure as an example,the seismic behavior of CFST spatial inclined column hybrid structure is studied by shaking table test.The main work studied in this article is as follows.(1)According to similarity theory,to meet the requirement of similar of the main lateral force resisting member,the process of the design and construction of shaking table model of the Tower are introduced,and the shaking table test was carried out from 6 degree frequent earthquake to 8 degree rare earthquake.(2)By analyzing the phenomenon and results of the test,dynamic properties,acceleration response,displacement response and strain response under different intensities earthquake are obtained.Also the corresponding responses of the prototype structure are calculated by similarity relation,and the seismic behavior of the structure is analyzed.(3)The experiment results demonstrate that: 1)Because of the spatial inclined columns and setback of the tower,the whiplash effect and torsion effect of the structure are obvious.2)Under earthquake action,diagonal columns not only need to bear the gravity load,but also transfer part of the lateral force caused by seismic effects,and the stress and strain are risen with increase of tilt angle.3)To improve the stiffness and bearing capacity of weak story,CFST columns and beams section size are increased.Caused by lateral stiffness mutation,the weak story transfer upward,which should be taken to avoid.
