Study On Urban Waterfront Landscape Based On Regional Culture

This paper attempts to analyze Urban Waterfront Landscape design from the perspective of regional culture,paper puts forward the importance of regional culture to waterfront landscape through reading relevant theoretical literature which from domestic and foreign.And it analyzes excellent waterfront landscape design case about domestic and foreign,masters design concept and expression from the perspective of regional culture.Taking ZhangJiaGang waterfront landscape design as an example.Coming to conclusion in the following aspects:First.In terms of theory,paper summarizes the characteristics about regional culture and waterfront landscape design,the extraction of regional culture elements should be diversified and three-dimensional,the integration of regional cultural elements includes not only the landscape elements,but also the spiritual aspects of cultural activities.On the basis of maintaining the ecological function,formating the waterfront space with cultural connotation.It makes the connotation of urban riverfront landscape more abundant,and plays an important role in protecting historical culture and displaying regional characteristics.Second.Paper summarizes the advanced concepts and scientific methods used in the waterfront landscape,including:the concept of respect and recognition of historical culture,the combination of tradition and modernity,and applying the elements of regional culture to landscape design by means of symbol and abstraction.Creating "sense of place" of space environment which can make the landscape a good cultural connotation and local characteristics.The regional culture can be fully expressed in the form and meaning.Third.Taking ZhangJiaGang waterfront landscape planning and design as an example,on the basis of analyzing ZhangJiaGang current situation and Sand culture characteristics,based on principles of highlight the local characteristics and maintain the ecological balance,dividing ZhangJiaGang sand waterfront landscape into eight major functional areas: The science education area,Woodland scenery area,Farming experience area,Historical memorial area,Waterfront recreational area,Folk culture area,The Yangtze river culture area,Fishery water experience area.Each partition using landscape sculpture,decorative outfit,the pavilion gallery and folk culture activities in order to reflect each aspects of sand culture.
