Nowadays,we are becoming more and more dependent on outdoor navigation.It makes our travels much convenient by using satellite positioning and navigation which is represented by GPS.Since GPS is constrained by signal occlusion and its positioning accuracy,it is unlikely to meet the demand of indoor positioning with high accuracy.On the basis of indoor positioning and navigation,we can trace the whereabouts of people and wares inside buildings,develop leisure puzzles,ensure the safety of people who working on some dangerous places,etc.So indoor location technology plays a huge role in promoting people's quality of life.Therefore,researchers at home and abroad has been working at full blast on indoor positioning.Plenty of indoor position technical proposal has come to the fore.From various colleges and universities to well-known large companies,such as Google,NOKIA,are trying to develop a practical indoor positioning technology.The original idea of this paper is to combine the VR device to get the coordinates of the player,according to the coordinates to detect the player's position and movement.The application of the scene requires very high positioning accuracy.Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of domestic and international positioning technology and methods,this paper selects the ultrasonic and infrared technology as positioning scheme,combined with the characteristics of ultrasonic and infrared devices of the proposed positioning scheme and specific location algorithm used in this paper.The indoor positioning system is installed and arranged in the indoor environment,then the system is tested successfully.A scheme of ultrasonic and infrared indoor positioning system is given in this paper.Hardware of location system is designed,and software and user interface program are written for the system according to positioning algorithm and data processing method.The positioning system is installed and arranged reasonably in the experimental environment.The performance parameters of the system are tested,and the experimental results and error sources of the ultrasonic and infrared ofindoor system are analyzed,and corresponding measures have been taken to improve the positioning accuracy of the system.The test results show that the ultrasonic and infrared based indoor positioning system has remarkable effect and its positioning accuracy is desirable.In this paper,the positioning system has solved some of the existing difficulties and problems.The system has been installed and deployed in real indoor scene and repeatedly tested.Eventually,we have achieved to track and position the indoor moving objects,which indicates the trend of development of indoor positioning and provides some valuable reference for the future implementation of it.
