With the improvement of the domestic economy,the urban road traffic gains great development and the quantity of the vehicles also obtain rapid growth,resulting the increasing traffic contradiction.How to acquire the traffic data,master the traffic situation and ease the traffic contradiction by utilizing the current traffic resource are confronting problems which need to be solved.Regarding these problems,a traffic vehicle density distribution scheme based on IoV(Internet of Vehicles)is researched in this thesis,a prediction method based on improved cubic exponential smoothing method for traffic flow is proposed,and an android application is also developed to get traffic status.Primary work of this thesis is described as follows:(1)On the basis of deep investigation of current research status of IoV and vehicle density,the architecture of vehicle density distribution and prediction system based on IoV is analyzed,and the relative research has also been done for data gathering,storing and processing method of this system.(2)The key technologies of vehicle density distribution and prediction system based on the internet of vehicle are studied,including the preprocess method of the traffic data and map matching algorithm.Mathematical derivations are conducted for the vehicle density and probability density distribution of the vehicle density distribution,an improved cubic exponential smoothing method is raised to predict the traffic flow,whose smoothing coefficient is optimized comparing with the traditional method.(3)A vehicle density distribution and prediction system is implemented based on Windows and Android platform in this thesis,analysis has been done for functional and non-functional requirements of both server side and client side,detailed process of the implementation for server and client is given.The APP is installed in the real machine,and also tested on the server and client based on Android4.4 and windows7.The effectiveness and the reliability of the designed system are verified in the real environment.
