With the rapid development of urban rail transit in recent years,the metro transfer station has been the significant network nodes of urban pedestrian traffic system and the important place for passenger flow to gather,distribute and transfer.The efficiency for pedestrians to gather,distribute and transfer depends on the planning and design of station facilities.The scientific design and optimization of pedestrian facilities can be achieved with quantitative analysis of passengers' characteristics,basic theory research such as modeling,and microscopic pedestrian traffic simulation and other means in metro transfer station.Pedestrians within metro transfer station were chose to be the research object.Research methods include measuring data,analysis of characteristics of pedestrian traffic flow,pedestrian traffic behavior model theory,and microscopic pedestrian simulation.With these method,the pedestrians' traffic characteristics,traffic behavior,simulation method and simulation effect evaluation index in metro transfer station were studied.First of all,analyzing the pedestrian behavior characteristics at the location of three kinds of facilities in metro transfer station including the queuing facilities,channels and interlayer facilities.The influence factors affecting the behavior of pedestrians are analyzed from three aspects including the pedestrians' properties,facilities properties and surrounding pedestrians' properties.Using statistical analysis tools to process and analyze the measured data and get the quantitative characteristics of pedestrians' behavior.On the basis of investigation and analysis of pedestrian traffic behavior characteristics,the queuing behavior and interlayer facility choice behavior were chose to conduct the deep modeling study.Queuing theory model was established for queuing behavior,and the evaluation index was analyzed to verify its effectiveness.For interlayer facility choice behavior,Logit model was selected to research different pedestrian properties' influence mechanism on the choice between stairs and escalators in metro transfer station.The choice behavior model of pedestrians between the stairs and escalators was established and the validity of the model was proved by test.Finally,the pedestrian dynamic simulation method was studied in metro transfer station.AnyLogic was chose to build microscopic simulation model of metro transfer station pedestrian flow,the evaluation indexes of simulation were selected and their implementation methods were introduced.Take Xi'an North street metro transfer station as an example,and set up the pedestrian flow simulation model based on survey data.According to the current facilities situation to find the bottlenecks in traffic performance and put forward optimization measures.Using the simulation software to intuitively reflect the effect of optimization measures and provide a reference for the design and optimization of metro transfer station facilities.
